The traditional, yet abstract design is lightweight and comfortable, with smooth playability. These electric violins offer the performer an instrument worthy of live performance as well as a valuable practice tool for situations that require complete silence. Made of hard maple with a unique design, it is accented by a jujube wood chin rest, an ebony fingerboard and an Aluminum alloy tailpiece w/ individual fine tuning screws. This Violin has a piezo system located under the bridge that can be used with any standard amplification as well as a set of Headphones for solo listening! Operated by a 9 volt battery (not included) it gives you the ability to control the Volume, Tone, and the use of a headset, mic, or line out 1/8 jacks located in back of the instrument.
